Imperial Blinds
Accessibility

Everyone should be able to use this site.

We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In plain terms, that means:

  • Everything works with a keyboard alone — including the blind builder, fabric filters and booking diary — with a clearly visible focus outline.
  • Screen readers are told what's happening: configuration changes, price updates and held booking slots are announced, not just drawn.
  • Text and controls keep sufficient colour contrast, and no product information is conveyed by colour alone — every fabric lists its properties in words.
  • The site works at 400% browser zoom and on small screens, and touch targets are sized for thumbs.
  • If your system asks for reduced motion, our scrolling reveals and the electric-blind animation switch off.
  • Forms use proper labels, error summaries with links, and inline messages that explain how to fix a problem.
  • No essential content hides behind hover — anything shown on hover is also available on focus or tap.

Where we're honest about limits

The visual blind previews are illustrations, so we describe each one in its text alternative. If any part of this site doesn't work with your assistive technology, tell us and we'll fix it — and we'll happily take your enquiry by phone at [Phone placeholder] or email at [Email placeholder] instead.

Statement reviewed July 2026. As a UK business we take our Equality Act 2010 duty to make reasonable adjustments seriously; WCAG 2.2 AA is the benchmark we test against.
